OKO is thrilled to announce the launch of our first pilot in Mali, made accessable through Orange payments and underwritten costs by Allianz.

With 10 agents in the field focusing on the education and registration of new customers, we are witnessing considerable traction. The positive reaction from the market response was clear, with 215 new registered customers joining OKO within 5 working days, and we will continue to onboard new clients until the start of the season on the 1st of August. We continue to have an advantage over traditional insurance companies in the region, as customers find it easier to access our necessary solution using our mobile tools.

OKO distributes the RéCIR insurance product, designed by FARM (projet de Financement Agricole et Rural au Mali), an initiative of SOCODEVI and Développement international Desjardins (DID). The FARM project is supported financially by the Canadian government through the Ministry of Global Affairs (AMC).
